  • Born in 2001, Harley Bird is an English actress and voice-over artist who became the youngest ever person to win a Bafta award at just 9 Years-old.

    Harley began her career at the age of 6 when she landed the role as children’s TV cartoon character Peppa Pig, which has since become a global phenomenon. 

    Harley’s recent work includes playing Supporting Actress in Oscar-Winning Kevin McDonald’s 2013 Movie “How I Live Now” starring alongside Saoirse Ronan.  Harley’s work on the film has led to a Nomination as “Best British Newcomer” at the British Independent Film Awards 2013.

    Harley has experience starring regularly in all forms of high-profile media (radio, television, film and print). 

    She is a natural in front of the camera, having made a wide variety of TV, radio and film appearances from a young age.  Harley starred as the young Daisy in Blueberry, a 2009 short film which won the Audience Award at the Cinequest Film Festival.   She also appears as a regular panellist on CBBC show 'The Dog Ate My Homework' 2013. 

    Her appearances as Peppa Pig include filming for the show, as well as presenting a behind the scenes feature on CBBC's Newsround, being interviewed in character on BBC Radio One's The Chris Moyles Show, as well as filming breakfast TV interviews following her Bafta win.  Click here to watch videos of Harley in action >>  (link to the videos page)
