Harley Bird has started shooting for her very first full-length feature film, “How I Live Now” directed by Kevin Macdonald.
Harley is filming many of her scenes with “Atonement”, “The Lovely Bones” and “Hanna” actress Saoirse Ronan on the project. She plays Piper, younger cousin to Saoirse’s Daisy who is sent to live with relatives in the English countryside when World War III breaks out.
The drama/ thriller is a film adaptation of Meg Rosoff’s best selling young adult novel which won the Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize.
The cast are currently filming in the Brecon Beacons, South Wales, led by award winning director Kevin Macdonald (“The Last King of Scotland” and “State of Play”).
